We will update the information in due course.

(B) Chartered Shared Transport

1. How is the cost for the chartered shared transport determined?

  • The total cost of the vehicle (bus or van) is shared equally among all passengers taking that option.
  • The final cost per person depends on how many people choose each transport type and their budget preferences.
  • Once everyone has indicated their transport choice, we will share the estimated cost for each option.
  • If one option (e.g. bus) has fewer expected passengers, the cost per person will probably be higher than for the other option (e.g. van).
  • We’ll also inform everyone before confirming bookings, so you can decide whether to stay with your current choice or switch to the other option.

2. When will the cost for the chartered shared transport be confirmed?

The final transport cost for camp will be confirmed by 1 May 2026, once everyone’s transport arrangements have been finalized. Indication of preferences was done by 1 March 2026 and confirmation of participation was done by 15 March 2026, which greatly helped with planning and coordination more efficiently.

3. More details about the Chartered Shared Transport

(a) Luggage at Checkpoint

Luggage must be brought down at the Singapore and Malaysia checkpoints when entering either country.

(b) New Update (as of 6 March 2026):

We will be using Singapore-registered vehicles instead of Malaysia-registered vehicles, due to LTA regulations. Hence estimated pricing is as follows:

  • Estimated price: SGD19 per pax per way
  • Shared MRT pick-up/drop-off points in Singapore
  • Slightly longer travelling time due to more passengers and stops
  • 40-45 seater bus

3. When do I make payment for the chartered shared transport?

Email has been sent out in April 2026 to inform participants about the current estimated costs and for confirmation. Please wait for the transport invoice to be sent to your email before you make payment. The invoice will contain all the payment details. The invoice will be sent by 15 May 2026.

4. What if I need to travel with a pram?

It will be considered as one luggage. Kindly indicate this in your response form.

5. What if I need to travel with baby/child seats?

You might like to consider driving or taking the cross-border taxi option or public transport, as the chartered shared bus/van may not have compatible seatbelts.
